The Museum Sankturbanhof is located in the heart of Sursee, Switzerland, housed in a historic building that blends heritage with a forward-looking program. The museum is structured around three key areas: Art Exhibitions, Cultural Exhibitions, and the Museum Collection. These three pillars not only define the museum’s curatorial approach but also formed the conceptual foundation for the visual identity we developed in 2020.
Reflecting this tripartite structure, all formats—including a responsive logo system—are divided into three parts. This consistent formal logic runs throughout the identity and creates a clear, modular visual language.
The typographic system combines two typefaces: ABC Synt by Kaj and ABC Diatype. While both are contemporary in form, they draw inspiration from distinct typographic traditions—creating a subtle dialogue between different design histories.
The identity was developed in collaboration with Simon Rüegg. Simon Rüegg.
