zweikommasieben is a Swiss magazine that has been devoted to the documentation of contemporary music since the summer of 2011. The magazine features artist interviews, essays and reviews as well as photography, illustration, and graphics. In addition zweikommasieben curates and organizes a variety of events, concerts, and performances. We have been part of the design team from the beginning and we design each issue from scratch.
zweikommasieben is bilingual: English and German. The design of the issue Nr. 19 focuses on the magazine’s use of language: What kind of texts are published? Do they come from written or spoken language? What is the original language spoken? Which texts are translated?
