zweikommasieben is a Swiss magazine that has been devoted to the documentation of contemporary music since the summer of 2011. The magazine features artist interviews, essays and reviews as well as photography, illustration, and graphics. In addition, zweikommasieben curates and organizes a variety of events, concerts, and performances. We have been part of the design team from the beginning and we design each issue from scratch.
The design of the zweikommasieben Magazine № 21 is inspired by theater scripts. As this issue of zweikommasieben consists mostly of interviews, we were interested in the participants of the interview, in their roles as the artist or interviewer. At the beginning of each interview you’ll find a dramatis personae — a list of characters that are involved in the interview.
